*I bought one because I have a cat and I cannot stand the smell of a cat's litter box. After about a day of being plugged in you can not even tell I have a cat now. When I have guests at the house the only way they know I have a cat is if I tell them or they catch a glimpse of her. I am going to get a few more for each of the bedrooms to help with sinus and allergy problems. Laura Hash *I cannot fully explain how or why salt lamps - work but they do!! Twenty minutes after plugging in my first lamp, I was amazed at the change in the quality of the air in my family room. From the very first night of plugging in my second lamp in my bedroom, my husband's - window rattling snoring stopped! I now have four lamps throughout my home: they improve the air quality, are decorative and give off an ambient light at night that makes my home comforting. When someone ask my husband what he thought of the lamps, without prompting from me, he commented that he noticed the air smelled as if he were near an ocean! Fresh and clean!
